Psychosocial risk management
In a constantly changing world of work, psychological health is no longer optional — it is a pillar of success. As psychoeducators, we combine clinical rigour with a pragmatic approach to help organisations navigate the complexity of human relationships and adaptation at work.
Our approach rests on an innovative tool: software for managing psychosocial risks (RPS) that we developed to deliver precise diagnostics based on validated data. Our role is to turn that data into concrete actions that support a healthy, productive workplace that meets legal requirements.
The benefits of psychoeducation in the workplace
Why choose a psychoeducator for your organisation? Unlike a traditional HR consulting approach, psychoeducation brings a clinical dimension centred on adaptation.
- Expertise in human behaviour. A deep understanding of relational dynamics and stress mechanisms.
- An on-the-ground approach. We do not stop at a diagnosis; we walk with you through the “how” of changing behaviours and cultures.
- Compliance with Act 27. We help you meet CNESST obligations rigorously for the prevention of psychosocial risks.
- Proactive prevention. Identifying signs of burnout or conflict before they turn into costly disability leave.
- Independence and ethics. As professionals governed by an order, we guarantee full objectivity and confidentiality in how your data is handled.
How does corporate support unfold?
Our process is designed to be fluid, transparent and results-focused, in three key phases:
Before: Preparation and diagnosis
We define your needs together. We install the survey platform and launch data collection with your employees. This is where we take a real pulse, without bias.
During: Analysis and co-construction
We turn survey results into a detailed report highlighting your strengths and areas of vulnerability. Depending on the package chosen, we build a personalised action plan together and train your teams to strengthen skills in managing psychological health.
After: Follow-up and lasting change
Change does not end when a report is delivered. We stay present to assess the impact of measures put in place, adjust course in follow-up meetings, and offer supportive coaching to your managers to sustain a healthy workplace.

Frequently asked questions
What is Act 27 and why should my organisation care?
Act 27 modernises occupational health and safety in Quebec. It now requires employers to identify, analyse and prevent psychosocial risks (RPS) in the same way as physical risks. My services ensure full compliance for you.
Are survey results confidential?
Absolutely. As professionals who are members of an order, we are bound by professional secrecy. Data is handled in aggregate so that no employee can be identified individually, which supports honest responses.
How does billing work?
Under the ethical rules of our professional order, no payment is required before the service is delivered. Billing is done in stages (milestones) once work is completed (e.g. after recommendations are delivered, after the managers’ meeting, after training, and so on).
What tools do you use for the survey?
We use proprietary software based on scientifically validated scales. That ensures recommendations rest on measurable facts, not impressions.
Do you offer individual consultation for employees?
Our corporate offer focuses on the organisation and on management. In Option 3, however, an hours bank can be used for clinical coaching with managers. For individual employee follow-up, please contact us and we can see how to meet that need with the Altera Psychoéducation team.
What is the return on investment (ROI) of this service?
Mental health problems are the leading cause of long-term disability. On average, a leave for burnout or depression lasts between 3 and 6 months. The cost of that leave can easily exceed $20,000. By preventing a single case of psychological distress, your investment is often already paid back.
