Group workshops: Walking the path together, differently

True to Altera’s philosophy, our group workshops step outside the traditional clinical frame. We know that the idea of sitting in a circle in a closed office can feel intimidating or simply not right for you. That is why we offer a group approach centred on action, nature and movement.

The strength of shared experience

One of the pillars of our psychoeducational approach is “shared lived experience”, and that idea comes fully into its own in a group. Joining an Altera workshop is first of all about breaking isolation. It is a chance to connect with other adults who understand your realities (mental health, trauma, anxiety), while being accompanied with care. We do not only talk about our challenges: we take them on in action, together.

What are our workshops like?

Our workshops are meant as caring laboratories for trying new ways of being and doing, at your own pace, knowing you are no longer alone on the path.
